Until the fateful day that her daughter is injured at school, Jessica Maroni figures that life is okay. Sure, being married to a workaholic pro-bono lawyer and living in Surrey on pennies isn't ideal - particularly when the yummy mummies at school take every opportunity to point out the differences between their husbands' incomes and hers.
